This page, (together with any documents, website pages or treats referred to on it), tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any and all of the treats and rewards within the Superdrug Feels Like Summer scratch card promotion.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before participating in any treat(s). You should understand that by claiming any of the treats, by entering the prize draw and by entering your personal details, that you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
You can print a copy of these Terms & Conditions by selecting the print option from the “File” menu of your browser. Please also note that the use of the Superdrug Site is subject to the terms contained in the disclaimer document, which apply whether or not you order any Products from the Site, redeem a Treat or enter the Prize Draw. You should also read the Privacy Policy.
Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
The promotion (“Prize Draw Promotion”) will begin on 22 June 2009 and will close at 11.59pm on 1 September 2009 (the “Entry Period”).
This Prize Draw Promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 16 and over who have obtained a Superdrug Summer Treats scratch card (“Scratch card”) through the Superdrug Summer Treats promotion (“Superdrug Summer Treats Promotion”), except employees of Superdrug Stores plc, freshtravel Ltd or any related companies, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
To be entered in the Prize Draw Promotion, you need to go online during the Entry Period to the website www.superdrug.com/treat to claim your Superdrug Summer Treat and to have your personalised voucher created. Simply complete and submit all the requested details, including the unique code from your Scratch card, and you will be automatically entered into the prize draw. Details submitted after the end of the Entry Period will not be entered into the prize draw. You do not have to book or participate in your Superdrug Summer Treat activity to be entered into the prize draw.
You may enter the Prize Draw Promotion once for each Scratch card held (so if you have five Scratch cards, you may enter five times), but you can only win once.
Four winners (the “Winners”) will each win a family holiday in Europe as described in this section (“Prize”). Each Winner will be able to choose their preferred destination, mode of transport and standard of accommodation for their holiday up to a value of £2,000, from the holiday options offered by freshtravel Ltd. Each Winner is responsible for food, beverages, spending money, travel to the departure point on embarking on the holiday and from the arrival point on return from the holiday and all other ancillary items and expenses which are not expressly included within the selected holiday. If a Winner’s choice of holiday is worth more than £2,000, and they do not wish to select a different holiday within the £2,000 limit, then the Winner will be liable to pay the difference at the time of booking. If a Winner’s choice of holiday is worth less than £2,000, no refund of the difference will be offered.
Each Winner will be selected at random from all of the eligible entries on 4 September 2009 under the supervision of an independent observer. On 9 September 2009 the Winners will be notified using the contact details provided online. The Winners must claim their Prize within seven (7) working days of being notified. If they do not do so then Superdrug Stores plc reserves the right to offer the Prize to an alternative winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
NOTE: After this date you will still be able to claim your treat and to print off your voucher, but you will NOT be entered in to the prize draw.
All Prizes must be booked through freshtravel Ltd . Winners must book and take their holiday before 9 September 2010. All holidays are subject to availability at the time of booking.
No travel insurance is included in the Prize. It is strongly recommended that adequate travel insurance is purchased separately for your own protection. freshtravel Ltd do not supply travel insurance. Some countries require you to have travel insurance to enter the country.
Any decision of Superdrug Stores plc as to eligibility to take part in the Prize Draw Promotion or the result of the Prize Draw Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Superdrug Stores plc accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, lost, damaged or illegible whether due to failure or non-availability of the website www.superdrug.com/treat, the submission of incomplete information or any other reason.
There is no cash alternative to the Prizes and the prizes are none transferable. Superdrug Stores plc reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute an alternative to the Prize of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary. Prizes are non-transferable.
Superdrug Stores plc reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Prize Draw Promotion at its own absolute discretion.
Any Winner may be required to take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Prize Draw Promotion or the Superdrug Summer Treats Promotion, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.

Please note that winners’ details will NOT be made available until 20th September 2009.
By entering the Prize Draw Promotion, all entrants consent to the transfer of their personal data to Superdrug Stores plc, its affiliated companies and freshtravel Ltd. for the purposes of the administration of this Prize Draw Promotion and the Winners consent to the transfer of their personal data to Superdrug Stores plc and its affiliated companies for the purposes of advertising, promotion and/or publicity in connection with the promotion.

Superdrug Summer Treat Promotion Terms & Conditions
The Superdrug Summer Treats promotion (“Superdrug Summer Treats Promotion”) will begin on 22 June 2009 and will close either at 5.30pm on 4 August 2009 or on such earlier date as all Superdrug Summer Treat promotional scratch cards (“Scratch cards”) have been distributed (the “Promotional Period”).
The Superdrug Summer Treats Promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 16 and over who have obtained a Superdrug Summer Treats scratch card (“Scratch card”) through the Superdrug Summer Treats promotion (“Superdrug Summer Treats Promotion”).
15,000,000 Scratch cards will be available across all Superdrug stores in Great Britain during the Promotional Period. Subject to availability, these Scratch cards will be offered to customers spending £5.00 or more in a single purchase at a Superdrug store in Great Britain during the Promotional Period. Please note that individual stores may run out of Scratch cards before the end of the Promotional Period.
Scratching the appropriate panel on each Scratch card will reveal a code. If this code is entered at www.superdrug.com/treat, and further details completed and submitted, you will become entitled to one voucher (“Voucher”) which must be printed.
Note that your Scratch card must be retained with the Voucher, since both will be required to show entitlement to the treat.
No replacement Scratch cards will be provided if you lose your Scratch card or are unable to claim your treat because you no longer have access to your Scratch card.
Each Scratch card and Voucher will describe one of a variety of different treats. Each treat is an offer (e.g. money off or two-for-one) on a flight, holiday, meal, activity or accommodation option. Each Scratch card and Voucher entitles you to one treat only.
Conditions and limitations apply to each treat and some treats require you to be over a certain age or to have parental or adult supervision or consent. You should therefore carefully read the full description of and specific terms relating to the treat to which your Voucher entitles you, before booking your treat.
All holiday treats, worldwide accommodation treats and flight voucher treats must be booked via freshtravel Ltd. All other treats are to be booked directly with relevant provider. Worldwide accommodation treats and flight voucher treats require a Booking Request Form or Flight Request Application to be submitted to freshtravel Ltd, in response to which freshtravel Ltd will contract you to make the booking and you will be asked to provide your Scratch card before that booking is confirmed.
All Vouchers/Booking Request Forms/Flight Request Applications must be printed off by 30 November 2009. All treats must be booked by 31 March 2010. All treats must have been completed by 1 June 2010 with the exception of Haven treats which must be completed by 30 October 2009.
Each Voucher can only be used as stipulated and no Scratch card or Voucher can be exchanged for cash. No alternative treat(s) will be issued, unless the treat to which you are entitled is not available, you notify us of such non-availability at 0845 807 2560* and we are unable to offer you the treat to which you are entitled at an alternative venue or on an alternative date.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for treats during Christmas, New Year, Bank holiday weekends and at other selected times depending on the individual treat.
Vouchers are not transferable.
All holiday treats, worldwide accommodation treats and flight voucher treats must be booked by the person registering their details on the website in order to print the Voucher. Other treats may be booked by the person holding the Scratch card and Voucher.
Sale of Scratch cards or Vouchers is not allowed.
Scratch cards and Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or concession.
Both the Voucher and related Scratch card are required to be presented to show entitlement.
Only original Scratch cards may be used.
Photocopies, damaged, defaced and/or void Scratch cards will not be accepted.
All times, dates, sessions, locations and all other details linked to the scheduling or redemption of your treat are subject to availability.

£50 Holiday Voucher Treats
1 The voucher entitles you to claim £50 off a holiday from the www.freshtravel.co.uk website.
2 All vouchers must be printed by 30/11/2009, and holidays booked by 31/03/2010 and taken by 01/06/2010. Holidays are subject to availability.
3 The voucher represents a £50 saving off holidays by Airtours, Thomson, First Choice, Cosmos, Virgin Holidays, Kuoni, Thomas Cook, Club Med, Cresta, Panorama or NCL Travel on the www.freshtravel.co.uk website. The saving is offered in addition to the current levels of system based discount(s) applicable at the time of booking.
4 At least two adults must travel for a minimum of seven nights and the package must include flights and accommodation.
5 The voucher represents a saving off the total holiday price excluding any deposit, payment of which must be made at the time of booking. The voucher may not be used for deposit, insurance and/or ancillary products.
6 A maximum of two vouchers, the equivalent of £100 saving, may be used per booking.
7 The voucher can only be redeemed against holidays featured on the www.freshtravel.co.uk website. The voucher cannot be used against any late deal offers.
8 The voucher can only be redeemed against holidays departing at least 8 (eight) weeks after your booking date. The voucher cannot be redeemed against any existing booking.
9 Holidays are subject to availability and subject to the freshtravel’s booking conditions (see www.freshtravel.co.uk for details) and operator’s standard booking conditions (see relevant operator’s brochure website for details).
10 The offer cannot be combined with any other operator offer or non-standard discount.
11 We advise you to protect yourself with travel insurance and some operators require proof of such insurance prior to booking. Be aware that freshtravel cannot provide you with travel insurance.
12 A lost voucher cannot be replaced and proof of posting will not constitute proof of receipt by us. The voucher should be sent by a secure form of delivery.
13 The discount will only be given and validated once freshtravel receives the original voucher & scratch card. Only original scratch cards will be accepted. Amended, defaced, damaged, photocopied or non-genuine printed vouchers and scratch cards are invalid.
14 Freshtravel reserves the right to refuse to honour the offer if it has reason to suspect that it is fraudulent or invalid for any other reason.
15 The voucher/scratch card cannot be redeemed as part of any relevant cancellation charges. Any holiday that is subsequently cancelled is subject to the operator’s normal cancellation terms and conditions.
16 The cash redemption value of the holiday voucher is 0.001p. Vouchers/scratch cards may not be sold for value.
17 There is no cash value to the holiday discount code and codes can not be sold for value.
18 The voucher may only be used by persons aged 18 or over.
19 Whilst holidays booked with freshtravel are protected by the ATOL and/or ABTA financial protection scheme, that protection does not extend to the £50 value attributable to the voucher. The voucher is not protected by the ABTA financial protection scheme or the CAA’s ATOL scheme.
20 A booking fee of 2% applies.
21 Only original vouchers and scratch cards will be accepted.

1 The reward voucher entitles you to claim up to 40%* off Haven Holidays current brochure prices on 3 night [Fri – Mon] weekend breaks on [selected] Parks and dates during June, July and August 2009. Call Haven Holidays for details of unavailable park dates.

1 Claim two Adrenalin Dare Devil Treats sessions for the price of one at a choice of over 150 participating venues and facilities across the UK .
2 With the voucher you can claim one free admission for an adult or a child when accompanied by an adult paying the full admission/activity price.
3 Only one free adult or child admission per voucher. Only one voucher per booking. If you are lucky enough to have more than one Summer Treat Adrenaline Dare Devil scratch card, you may not use more than one scratch card/voucher at the same provider (whether or not at the same time or venue).

1 With the voucher you can claim one free Summer Treats Sports Activity Session / Lesson for a child under 12 at a choice of participating venues and facilities across the UK.

2 nights for the Price of 1 Treats
1. With the voucher you can claim two nights accommodation for the price of one at any participating HotelREZ hotel. Details of participating hotels can be found by calling HotelREZ on 0845 004 9393 or by sending an e-mail to: reservations@hotelrez.net. Please mention the promotional code “Superdrug Summer Treats”. Callers may pay up to £0.05 per minute for calls from the BT network. Mobile and other networks may vary. Some callers from outside of the U.K. are not able to dial a 0845 number. Calls may be recorded for training purposes.
2. All prices are based on actual rack rates and on two people sharing a twin or double standard room for two nights. Single supplements may apply. No meals, drinks or other ancillary expenses are included.
3. The lead name on the booking must be aged at least 18 years.
4. Only one Superdrug Summer Stay Treat per voucher and only one voucher per booking.

1 Week’s Free Accommodation Treats

European Flight Treats
1. The voucher entitles you to a return economy flight to one of the destinations listed from one of the stated airports for the price of just the applicable taxes and surcharges.
2. The voucher doesn’t represent an entitlement to travel on a specific route on a specific date. You can fly to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Budapest or Berlin.
3. Departures are available from Manchester, Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, East Midlands, Liverpool, Glasgow. The departure airport will be determined by the destination city and not all airports listed offer direct flights to all destination cities. The airline will be at the discretion of freshtravel. Other airports may be available at a supplement.
4. Airport taxes and surcharges, supplements, hold baggage, carriage of sports equipment, airport check-in, extra leg room fees, visa fees and insurance (if required) are excluded and, where applicable, are payable on confirmation. The offer doesn’t include transfers, meals, drinks or any other extras.
5. A second passenger may travel with the voucher holder at the standard airfare that applies at the time of booking. Again airport taxes and any applicable supplements must be paid for by the accompanying passenger at the time of booking.
